Aluma Kraft Manufacturing was founded in 1946 after WWII. The founders who were aircraft workers and engineers during the war brought their skills to the new company.
In 1950 the company expanded into commercial markets specializing in the manufacture of exterior building products. Aluminum curtain wall, siding, guttering, shelters, and aluminum awnings were all manufactured by Aluma Kraft. For over fifty years Aluma Kraft has earned a respected place in the industry.
Mike Bottom, second generation of the family owned business, begin working on a new product line in 2002. The product was a flag replica made of aluminum. Recognizing the need for a flag symbol that would far outlast anything currently on the market the Aluma Flag became a reality. He tried to develop a product that would be structurally sound, compatible to almost any architectural application, create an impressive image, and far outlast any cloth flag on the market. The result was the Made in America Aluma Flag - "The flag for the future"
